About the Project
According to the CDC, secondhand smoke kills 41,000 people every year or about 1,300 people every day.* Exposure to secondhand smoke can irreparably damage a person's health. College campuses have vulnerable populations since many students are younger. This website looks to educate and connect students with appropriate organizations and professionals to provide guidance on how to push for smoke-free policies on college campuses.
This website also features the only comprehensive nationwide directory of smoke-free and non smoke-free colleges and allows people to see a visual impact on how those policies are working so far.
